It was 57 years back (1957) Balkrishna Bane then only 18 years old came to Mumbai and took the career in Sheet Metal Industry without a formal education in Engineering.

After working for 20 years and developing the expertise in Tool Design/Manufacturing of Sheet metal Components saw the Dream of being an entrepreneur. He did not waste time and started a Small Scale unit in 1980 at Jogeshwari. This unit was having an area of only 600 Square feet and was becoming a hurdle to expand the Business. By this time Vishal had also joined father and decided to move into 4500 square feet workshop at Kandivali (west) in 2005.

Vishal had much bigger dream and decided to make it happen by constructing a large manufacturing unit having an area of 16000 square feet at Ambad Industrial Estate (Nashik) Maharashtra (INDIA) in 2011.
For the last 30+ years Standard Engineering Works has been manufacturing Precision Sheet Metal Components for clients in Switchgear/Auto /Bottling Industry.
